Home Remedy For Swimmer's Ear

This infection is caused by different bacteria and fungus, and this infection is most common with children who spend lot of time in water. However, it can occur with any other person even while taking normal shower.
In the first occurrence of earache or discomfort in ear, it is better to consult a doctor for his diagnosis. Pain in ear and choking of air are the main symptoms for swimmer’s ear. This problem can initially be treated with white vinegar in the ear. You need to put a few drops of vinegar in an ear and try to retain it in the ear inside before you further turn down ear for draining out the solution. It is wise to continue with this remedy for 3-4 days because this easy home remedy is enough effective in fighting fungal and bacterial growth.
Prevention is better than cure. While you are in a swimming pool or taking a long shower, pour 3-4 drops of cider vinegar mixing with 3-4 drops of water or alcohol in the ear canal, for both of the ears immediately after showering or after swimming. This simple home remedy helps initial prevention from swimmer’s ear problem. This remedy needs to be practiced regularly after each shower/swimming.
You can take a few drops of baby oil heat the oil, take a dropper and apply the warm oil [in tolerant level] in the ear canal and then close the opening with medicated cotton ball so that the oil should be draining out of the ear canal.
The problem of swimmer’s ear happens due to accumulation of moisture in the ear. Removal of moisture cures the problem, thus use of warm air from a blow drier from a distance helps to cure the problem in some cases.
It is absolutely unwise to poke ear with any bud or sharp object.
You need to visit your doctor immediately if there is visible redness in ear canal, and the ear canal is swollen with terrible pain; if there is any discharge from ear; and the event of earache is followed by an infliction of cold attack.
